Our work celebrates neurodivergent minds, youth voice and choice, LGBTQIA+ lives, harm reduction and recovery journeys, underground and queer subcultures, mental health awareness, and the resilience born from surviving stigma. From geek and nerd culture, sci-fi, music fandoms, and nostalgic obsessions, to metaphysical curiosities, exotic and animal-lover worlds, romantic novel daydreamers, and community artist collaborations, Maniacal Threadz is designed as an interconnected ecosystem rather than a single aesthetic. We create intentional, hand-crafted fashion and art that affirms identity, challenges stigma, and celebrates lived experience across LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent minds, recovery and harm reduction spaces, underground subcultures, and youth-centered culture. We believe fashion can be a safe place, a voice, and a bridge between worlds, empowering people to be seen as they are and supported as they grow. Every piece we make exists to honor authenticity, resilience, and the power of self-expression in all its forms.

Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston, where she holds the Huffington Foundation Endowed Chair at the Graduate College of Social Work. She also holds the position of Professor of Practice in Management at The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
